Marklin/Trix Surprise Locomotive -

The Saxons are a small but fine group of people, and they have built a reputation for doing things rather well on their own. Naturally, this one time kingdom had its own state railroad. Shortly before World War I, it ordered one of the most powerful steam locomotives of that time from the Saxon Machinery Company in Chemnitz.

The Class 19.0 Steam Locomotive 

With four powered axles, a performance of 1,800 horsepower, and a service weight of 162 metric tons, it was a truly mighty express train that could play its trump cards especially in the Saxon hill country. Between 1918 and 1923 delivery was taken of 23 units. The new German State Railroad even ordered the last production run.
