BM2 Brake Module
The BM2 not only allows the train to stop at "Hp 0" before the signal, but also offers the installation of a low-speed section for "Hp 2". The route in front of the signal is divided into a driving and a braking section. The length of the section must be such that the longest train running there fits completely into it. The length of the braking section depends (as on the BM1) on the set braking deceleration or the set braking distance. The driving and braking sections are supplied by the corresponding outputs of the BM2. To ensure that pushed trains can also be influenced by the BM2, the leading car of the pushed train must be equipped with a power consumer (e.g. lighting of the car). For example, the control car receives changing headlights and taillights with the direction of travel. The BM2 also ensures that no braking is triggered when driving on the section in the opposite direction.
