The wagons were used to transport, among other things, tracked vehicles (troop transport), heavy machine parts, bulk goods such as ore, etc. In order to be able to drive from one car to the next when loading vehicles, the railings of the brakemen's platforms could be folded down. The flat cars were delivered to the Deutsche Reichsbahn by the Niesky wagon construction factory. Some of them are still in use by DB today."
