Novelty 2026: With the T 9.3 in the version as Rh 75 of the NS in Era III (former BR 91.3 DRG), a versatile locomotive from the golden age of railways rolls onto H0 tracks. In prototype use, it was successfully deployed both for freight and passenger trains as well as in shunting service, and the PIKO model impresses equally on the layout in universal operation. Constructively, the Expert steam locomotive leaves hardly any room for wishes and takes into account all structural and visual details of the prototype machine. The cab roof is rounded, and through the windows below, you can see the intricately detailed interior. Numerous free-standing components, such as a whistle on the roof, the bell on the boiler, as well as authentic lamps and piping, demonstrate model engineering at the highest level. The same applies to the running gear with finely die-cast wheels and the delicate brake rigging.The factory-integrated PIKO PSD XP sound decoder enables the control of lights in the cab and running gear area. In addition, a digitally controlled flickering LED in the firebox area simulates glowing red coals. All lighting, including the direction-dependent headlight change, is implemented with modern, maintenance-free LED technology. The numerous locomotive-specific sounds ensure an authentic model railway operation.
