DIFFERENT DATA FORMATS
The Intellibox can be used with 2-rail or 3-rail layouts. Locomotive -, functions -, turnouts and switching decoders (in Motorola -, DCC- and Selectrix formats) of most other manufacturers can be operated at the same time on a layout.

The Intellibox can easily be extended with our accessory equipment. All digital components are simply and easily connected to the Intellibox. using LocoNet, the universal network for the model railway,
Whether you add speed controllers (IB control, Profi-Control), mobile cable-bound Hand control (FRED, DAISY) or infrared remote control (IRIS), or control panels for operating turnouts and routes (IB-Switches), a track diagram panel (Switch-Control), or our feedback modules to supervise sections of track or automate your layout without the use of a computer (LISSY), our LocoNet accessories make this possible.
The integrated computer connector makes it possible to control your layout from PC or MAC with many different control programs, which employ all the features of the Intellibox. Do you already possess digital devices from other manufacturers? No problem! Using the side connectors all Mrklin devices can be connected to the Intellibox. The Lokmaus 1 can be connected directly and for Lokmaus 2 there is the mouse adapter. Using the X-bus adapter Lenz X-bus devices are connected to the Intellibox. A connector for s88 compatible of feedback modules is also present.

CENTRAL UNIT
The central processor provides the co-ordination of the individual components, processes the incoming data and generates the different digital signals.BOOSTER
The integrated, high performance booster has a maximum output current of 3 A. The output has short-circuit protection. For N-scale the output voltage can be limited a peak voltage by 15 V.SPEED CONTROL
Two large rotary controls are provided to allow two locomotives to be controlled simultaneously. The rotary control (without end-stop) takes over control of a newly selected locomotive at stored speed. The speed controllers can be used like the AC transformers with direction switch or like DC controllers with a central position.KEYBOARD
The keyboard can switch up to 320 Mrklin, and/or 2040 DCC solenoids. The turnout position or signal status is indicated in the display.ROUTE CONTROL
The route control of the Intellibox can administer up to 48 routes. Each route can contain up to 10 switching processes. The ability for one route to call another route makes it possible to set up very flexible routes.FEEDBACK MONITOR
The Intellibox can evaluate up to 2048 feedbacks from LocoNet feedbacks or s88-feedback modules. The status of the track sections can then be read directly in the Intellibox display.PROGRAMMER
The programming of Uhlenbrock, Selectrix or DCC compatible decoders is clear and simple owing to menu controlled prompting.INTERFACE
The computer interface has a data transmission rate of maximum of 19200 Baud, an input buffer and an extended command set and is a fast connection to a PC or MAC.
Software available from other manufacturers utilizes the special features of the Intellibox.UPDATE-ABLE PROCESSOR

9999 DECODER ADDRESSES
The number of the available speed steps and addresses depends on the respective decoder. In principle the Intellibox supports all speed steps and decoder addresses, which the decoders offers.VIRTUAL LOCOMOTIVE ADDRESSES
As well as the programmed address each decoder can have an additional address assigned to it, with a maximum of four digits. So vehicles can be called up under either their operating or sequence number.
MULTI-TRACTION
8 combinations with up to 4 locomotives per traction can be administered by the Intellibox. The entire traction is controlled with one speed control under the address the first locomotive.EXTENDED SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
In the DCC mode the Intellibox supports up to twelve special functions. The keys "function" and "off" are for switching of light, sound, telex clutch etc.INFORMATIVE LCD DISPLAY
The large LCD display with back lighting has a clearly arranged user interface. The announcement language in the control panel can be selected to be German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish and Danish.
COMPATIBILITY
