This HO Scale Brekina 1954 AEC Routemaster Double-Deck Bus is based on the famous transit vehicles designed by London Transport and built by the Associated Equipment Company (AEC) and Park Royal Vehicles. The first prototype was completed in September 1954 and the last one was delivered in 1968. The last of these long-lived buses was removed from service in 2005, but some continued to operated on heritage routes until 2019. Many former London buses are preserved in museums or operated by private tour/sightseeing businesses. This bus model features a detailed injection-molded plastic body with fine decoration, interior, window glazing and chrome-plated parts as appropriate.
