Lucky!! A replacement fender was found for the beloved Trabant and the workshop finally had a free space. Everything was in short supply in the GDR, spare parts for vehicles, free workshop spaces as well as paint paints. For example, this blue car had to wait a very long time for the painstakingly acquired brown fender to eventually become a blue fender that matched the color of the rest of the car. But the main thing is to have a functioning means of transport at all!
