Union Bakery Karl Marx Stadt, built in 1954
The Framo as a delivery van for baked goods from the VEB Grosbackerei Union in Karl Marx Stadt. The wholesale bakery Union was founded in 1910 by Emil Reimann and is today continued as Emil Reimann Backerei GmbH in Dresden. In the 1960s, the typical green/beige delivery vans were a trademark of the Union Bakery in the Karl Marx Stadt area - today Chemnitz again.
