In addition to the Königlich-Württembergischen-Staats-Eisenbahn,
even some railway companies in Switzerland purchased the four-axle passenger
cars based on the American model.
When, in 1902, the large Schweizer Eisenbahngesellschaft merged with the Schweizer
Bundes Bahne SBB, they took over many of the existing four-axle passenger cars.
These cars shared many structural principles with the passenger cars purchased
by Württemberg's neighbour. It took until 1941 for the last of the meanwhile
82 year old passenger cars to disappear from the tracks of the SBB.
