2019 New Items Preview - ESU V60 in HO and Loksound v5!

ESU has announced an all-new DB V60 diesel locomotive as part of their 'Engineering Edition' line of HO scale locomotives (DCC and Marklin AC).  The model comes with a new metal body mold and chassis, full digital sound, digital keep-alive, digital couplings, advanced lighting,a new smoke generator, and all the fine detail and quality one expects from ESU. The model will be offered in 5 liveries from Era III thorugh Era VI.

The new V60 also features another announcement from ESU for 2019 - the Loksound 5 decoder!  The new Loksound decoder includes a new 32-bit processor capable of playing 10 sound channels simultaneously, 16-bit resoultion/31250Hz sample rate, optimized motor control, up to 32 functions, as well as new brake simulation and heavy-load modes and much more.  Individual Loksound v5 decoders should be available during the 1st Quarter of 2019
