Marklin - ANNOUNCES FINAL CLOSEOUT OF 'M-Track'!

Today we received official notification from Marklin that they will no longer produce M-Track, effective immediately. The factory has officially announced that the M Track program will not appear in the 2001/2002 catalog. Orders can be accepted as long as supplies last.

The items to be discontinued in addition to the track are the catenary masts for M Track, the 7269 curved bridge ramp (the remaining bridge pieces are still usuable with K Track), the 7171 sound absorption strips, the 7299 track mounting screws, the 7292 and 7390 crossing gates. The only part # that will remain with the C-Track Program will be the 5113 Uncoupler Light Pole.

Marklin's intent will be to move there final inventory out of the factories as quickly as possible. So, if you are an M-Track Modeller, you have a few choices;

1. You may analyze your current M-Track needs and wants, and make this a priority purchase for this year.

2. You can continue to buy as per usual, whenever the need arises and hope that your supply does not dry up. (there is always plenty of next to new "Used M-Track" around.

3. Consider moving into C-Track or K-Track.
