MAJOR SITE UPDATE

Summer Vacation? Not for us! - We have been busy updating our site with some new and improved features to help make your experience here more enjoyable than ever before. The overall look and layout of the site hasn't changed much but we have added a few new features, refined some other areas and improved the overall speed of our catalog pages*.

Here are some of the major changes you may notice;

Drop-Down Menus — We added some easy to use drop down menus to a few of the items in our top navigation. We hope these will help you find your way around our rapidly growing site a bit easier and maybe introduce you to some areas of our site you may not have explored before.

Improved Search Feature — Every page on our site now has its own search box so you do not have to return to our main search page each time you want to change your search. Just choose a product line, enter the text or product number you would like to search for and click 'GO'.

Order Form Updates— We have moved the link to view your current order out of the main navigation bar to the top of the page above our logo. We also added a new feature that shows on each page how many items are in your current order and the total dollar value in US and Canadian dollars (this only appears once you have one or more items in your order).

The Check Order Status form has also moved from the bottom of the home page to its own page and added a link next to the 'View Order' link. You can use this feature to check the shipping status of any order you have submitted through our site. All you need is your e-mail address and the order confirmation number we gave you when you submitted your order. Once you are logged in you can also easily view the status of any other order you have submitted in the past.

Other updates include;

An improved 'Links' page with a list of categories at the top of the page
A new 'Hints and Tips' page in the Gallery section. This area is still under construction but we will soon be starting to post helpful information on layout building, maintenance, building kits and scenery, and much more!
On the Latest News drop down menu we have added a 'Latest Arrivals' link. We are still working on this page but when completed it will feature a list of new products that have arrived recently in our store. We hope this section will help you keep track of the shipping dates of new products.
We added over 450 images to our Faller catalog and over 250 to our Pola catalog.

We have more updates and some exciting new announcements in the coming weeks so don't forget to check back often.

* Note: While we have tried to keep our site as accessible as possible, some of the new features and updates have made our site less friendly to older web browsers. We highly recommend users of version 3 browsers upgrade to the 4.0 or later releases. We have tested our site extensively with the 4.0 and later releases of Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator and Opera.
