The wait is finally over for 2-Rail DC fans of American Railroads! TRIX announced a DC version of the Marklin Big Boy locomotive at the 2001 NMRA National Train Show (July 13-15, 2001) in St.Louis.
The Trix Big Boy will build on the detail and quality of the Marklin Big Boy Insider Model, adding features to make it compatible with other North American model railroad products. Some of these features include RP 25 wheel flanges, knuckle couplers compatible with major North American brands, and a DCC decoder socket.
The Trix Big Boy will be delivered to dealers in Fall 2001 but we are accepting pre-orders now for what will undoubtedly be a very popular locomotive.
