DELAYS on Marklin/Trix UNION PACIFIC car sets and Marklin Exclusive TEE sets

We have recently heard from Marklin Germany that production/delivery of a number of popular new items is now delayed until the 4th Quarter of 2002.

These delays affect all Marklin and Trix UNION PACIFIC car sets announced so far, including the 45646/45647 Boxcars, 45702 Caboose, and 45680 Refrigerated Cars.

Also affected are the 39573/42290/42291 Digital TEE Sets from Marklin Exclusive 3/2001

We offer our sincere apologies to our customers who have ordered these new items and are patiently awaiting delivery. We have expressed our displeasure regarding these delays to Marklin Germany as have other dealers and Marklin USA.

In addition to inconveniencing you, we also end up paying Marklin more for these items as Marklin has raised prices since their initial announcements. We will NOT be passing along this increase to our customers who have already ordered these items - you will only pay the price indicated when you ordered the item(s).

If you wish to cancel your order or order alternate items, please let us know ASAP (No restocking or special order cancellation fees will be charged). We do have a long list of people waiting for these items so please be sure you do not want these items before giving up your place in line or your price guarantee!
