MAJOR SITE UPDATE!

Once again we are excited to launch another major upgrade to our web site. We have made a number of changes to make browsing our site more enjoyable and to help you find the products you are looking both faster and easier. Almost all of the new features we are launching were the result of feedback from our customers and we thank everyone for their suggestions and compliments on our site.

New Product Search Pages- We have completely re-written our search engine to make it more powerful than ever. You can now search our entire product catalog using our basic search (found in the left hand side of each page on our site and on our search page). Our search now accepts multiple keywords as well to help you narrow down your search.

Most importantly, we have also added a very powerful advanced search page that allows you to search our entire product catalog using a number of additional parameters such as scale, product category, and even era and nationality!

Our new advanced search can also be used to explore our product lists in greater detail. Want to find all N-scale era III steam locomotives, all Z-scale lights, or maybe all the HO Railway station kits in our lists, regardless of the manufacturer? Simply leave the keywords field blank, choose the categories you want, and voila!

Thumbnail Images - To help you find what you are looking for faster, you now have the option of viewing small thumbnail images of products directly in our catalog list pages. For faster browsing over slower internet connections, the thumbnails can be turned off with a single click (the on/off link can be found at the top of every product list page on our site).

Product Details - We also added more information that ever before to our product database. Almost all locomotives and rolling stock now have both the era and country of origin available. We have also updated our database to allow us to post multiple images of products and we will be taking advantage of this feature with future product releases.

New Manufacturers - Frequent visitors to our site will also notice two new manufacturer logos on our site. We have now added the complete Brekina catalog of HO scale automobile models to our site. We will also be adding the complete Piko catalog of structure kits, locomotives, and rolling stock to our site within the next few weeks.

Don�t forget that we can special order just about any product line direct from Germany so please let us know if you are looking for something you do not see in our catalogs.

Other updates - We have also made a number of other updates to our site, including;

• a new sale page which now lists only those manufacturers with items on sale.
  
  
• a new order �checkout� page that gives you the option of saving your personal information so that you do not have to type it again on future orders.
  
  
• we are in the process of writing new �Help� pages to answer any questions you may have about using our site. These pages should be ready soon � just look for the �help� icon in the top right hand corner of each page.
  

Gallery Pages - Don't forget that we are always looking for layout photos to feature on our Gallery pages. If you have photos of your layout that you would like to share with others for inspiration, please let us know.
