MARKLIN 2005 Catalog News and Pre-Orders

2005 will be bringing major changes to the annual Marklin Catalog. Marklin will no longer be releasing an annual catalog as we know it in the fall of preceding year. The catalog will now will released each February to coincide with the German Toy Fair and will include both current catalog items and the new items for that year (separate new items brochures will no longer be issued).

The release date is not the largest change however! Starting in 2005 the Marklin catalog will once again be broken into 3 separate catalogs, one for HO, one for Z-scale, and one for Maxi/1 Gauge. The catalogs will be available separately or as a set of 3 in a storage sleeve/box. Marklin will continue to produce an annual CD-Rom version of the full catalog although we are not sure if they will be changing the format. At this point Marklin has not released many images of the new catalog other than the once you see here - we will keep you updated as more details arrive.

We have added the new catalog numbers with pricing to our database so you can pre-order your catalog(s) and be one of the first to receive them once they arrive in February.
