Marklin HO Adler Special Edition UPDATE

We have recieved word that we may be able to obtain additional units of the Marklin and Trix 'Adler' special editions. Our original allotment of these sets were sold out before we could even post them on our site (only 3,333 Marklin sets and 999 Trix sets will be made).

If you are interested in one of these sets PLEASE place your order now as we do not know how many additional sets we will be able to bring in. Any additional sets will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis.

Background: When the locomotive shed of DB Museum in Nurnburg burnt down in October of this year, over 20 historic locomotives and cars were destroyed. The famous reproduction of the Adler locomotive and cars were some of the victims. Marklin/Trix is supporting the DB's resoration of the Adler by releasing special collectors editions of the Adler set with 50 Euros going towards the restoration effort for each set sold. The restoration of the Adler is hoped to be complete by 2010, the 175th anniversary of railroads in Germany.
