We are only a month into spring but Marklin/Trix has officially announced their 2009 Summer New Items. We have posted the full list along with detailed descriptions and images. Pricing will follow shortly.
Highlights for Marklin HO modelers include the era III 39563 Swiss Crocodile with an MFX decoder, sound effects and Softdrive Sine motor and a Era II DRG version of the new Class 64 Steam Locomotive. I-Gauge fans are not left out with a host of accessories and some finely detailed "Thunderbox" passenger cars.
The new Central Station 2 also appears with a new item number, 60214. The primary new feature of this controller is the fact that it is now a Multi-Protocal Controller; it has DCC! YES! FINALLY! For those of you having already purchased this fantastic controller, no worries. There will be a DCC Download Package coming soon!
Trix fans have to make do with only 2 new items - the 22236 HO SBB 'Grey Mouse' RABe Railcar train and a HO DB V300 Heavy Diesel, the new 2009 model for Profi-Club members only.
